Overview
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions purchased through algorix.online. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
We want the commercial terms to be clear before you subscribe. If anything below is unclear, contact us before purchasing and we will confirm how it applies to your plan.
12-day free trial
The free trial is a standalone 12-day evaluation with one private test workflow. It is for evaluation and does not create a payment obligation because no card details are collected on this website.
A trial starts when the trial environment is activated. At the end of the 12-day period, access to the trial features ends unless you confirm a paid plan. We do not automatically charge a card when the trial ends.
If you confirm a paid plan, the first monthly fee becomes due. Refunds for that paid subscription are handled under the sections below. Trials are limited to one per customer unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Monthly subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Because fees are charged in advance for the upcoming service period, refunds are generally not available for a billing period that has already started.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Services until that period ends. We do not provide pro-rated refunds or credits for partial months or unused time, except where required by law or stated in this policy.
14-day refund window for first purchases
If you are a new customer and are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of the initial charge. We will review the request in good faith and, where the conditions below are met, refund the first month’s fee.
To be eligible, you must:
- be within 14 days of your first paid charge for the plan;
- have made the request using the account and email address used to subscribe;
- not have received a refund for a previous Algorix subscription on the same or a related account; and
- not have materially consumed the Services through custom development, dedicated infrastructure, or extensive deployment work.
This window applies once per customer. It does not apply to renewals, additional plans, add-ons, or professional services performed under a separate statement of work.
When refunds may not be available
Subject to applicable law, we may decline a refund where a charge relates to a billing period that has already started, a renewal, or services that have been substantially delivered. Examples include:
- custom development, integrations, or migration work already performed;
- dedicated infrastructure, licences, or third-party API usage incurred on your behalf;
- accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or acceptable use rules;
- refund requests made after the applicable window has expired; or
- abuse of trials, promotions, or previous refunds.
Where we decline a refund, we will explain the reason. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under consumer law.
How to request a refund
Email contact@algorix.online with the subject line “Refund request” and include:
- the name and email address on your Algorix account;
- your plan name and the date of the charge;
- your payment provider invoice, order, or transaction identifier, if available; and
- a brief explanation of the reason for the request.
Please do not include full card numbers or other sensitive payment details in your email. We may ask for additional information to verify the account and the charge before processing a request.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider. We aim to review requests within 5 business days. Once approved, the provider typically processes the refund within 5–10 business days, although your bank or card issuer may take longer to post the credit.
Refunds are made in the original transaction currency. We cannot refund amounts to a different payment method or third party, and we are not responsible for currency fluctuations, bank fees, or charges imposed by your payment provider.
Billing disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can investigate and, where appropriate, correct or refund it. Most issues can be resolved faster than a formal dispute.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend the affected subscription while the dispute is investigated. If a chargeback is resolved in our favour, we may require payment of the disputed amount and any associated fees before restoring access. Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising your lawful rights.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where you ask us to begin providing a digital service immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed, to the extent permitted by law.
This policy does not exclude, restrict, or replace any rights you have under mandatory consumer law. If a statutory right applies, it prevails over the terms above.
Enterprise and custom engagements
Enterprise Sovereign deployments, custom development, and professional services may be governed by a separate order form, statement of work, or enterprise agreement. Where those documents set out different cancellation, payment, or refund terms, those terms prevail over this policy for the affected services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the date above. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date and do not reduce rights you already have for a current subscription. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before your next renewal.
